Important Notice Regarding COVID-19

The COVID-19 (coronavirus) has been in the headlines of late and we have received questions about the upcoming Annual Conference in San Francisco.  The Society for Affective Science Board of Directors and Program Committee are monitoring the situation in San Francisco for any potential health risks to attendees. The in-person annual meeting has been canceled.

We are paying close attention to the guidance of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention—experts in public health.

Attendee safety and well-being is our top priority. The CDC recommends that individuals follow everyday preventative actions that include hand washing, covering your cough, and staying home if you are ill.

We are continuing to track this situation and will provide updates on this site, by email, and through social media outlets.
