Dear SAS Community,
The SAS Membership & Outreach team is pleased to announce the launch of a Teaching Resource Repository, designed to bring together Affective Science-related teaching materials in one convenient location for SAS members.
We invite you to help populate this repository by contributing materials you already use or have developed. These resources may include, but are not limited to:
- Course or workshop syllabi
- Lecture slides
- Reading lists
- Assignments or project instructions
To facilitate submissions, we have created a brief Google form (see below). All submissions will be reviewed by the SAS Membership & Outreach committee for relevance to affective science (broadly defined) and suitability for inclusion in the repository.
Submission guidelines
- Files should be submitted in Word, PDF, pptx, or txt format.
- If your materials are already hosted on an open science platform (e.g., OSF, GitHub, or a personal website), you may submit links to these resources in a Word or PDF file.
- Contributors may choose whether their name is associated with the submitted materials, or not.
- Contributors may apply Creative Commons or another license at their discretion. Please note that SAS does not monitor licensing compliance or verify the content of submitted files.
Please upload your materials using the following link: https://forms.gle/SwmRurjtLoVc99kZ8
To help establish the initial repository, we would appreciate receiving submissions by Sunday, February 15, 2026. Contributions will continue to be accepted on an ongoing basis as teaching materials are developed or updated.
If you have questions, please contact Rita Assabgui at rita@podiumconferences.com.
We greatly appreciate your contributions and look forward to building this shared resource for the SAS community!
Sincerely,
Stephanie M. Carpenter, Nicole Roberts, & Jolie Wormwood
