The Department of Neuroscience seeks candidates with a demonstrated commitment to teaching and ability to establish a small-scale active research program that involves undergraduates. Broad methodological training and a PhD in Neuroscience or a related field are required. Teaching responsibilities each year include a lecture/laboratory course in human neuroscience one semester, and two elective courses (which could include social neuroscience, biological basis of psychopathology, statistics, neuroimaging, and/or other courses in the candidate’s fields of expertise) the other semester. Supervision of senior theses and other undergraduate research projects is also expected. The teaching load is five courses per year.
