Lab Manager/Research Assistant Position

The Translational Emotion and Memory Lab (www.theteamlab.org) at Tufts University in Medford, MA, led by Dr. Xandra Kredlow, is hiring a lab manager/research assistant to start June 2024. Our lab focuses on examining methods to harness memory processes with the goal of developing novel interventions for emotional disorders (e.g., anxiety, trauma and stressor-related, and mood disorders). We conduct research in healthy humans and clinical populations. The lab manager will be involved in an ongoing neuroimaging study related to social anxiety disorder and autobiographical memory which we are conducting in collaboration with the Harvard Center for Brain Science. They will also be responsible for some administrative tasks and informally mentoring undergraduate research assistants. There will be opportunities to work on presentations and publications and this position will be good preparation for individuals applying to experimental psychology or clinical psychology PhD programs. This is a 1-year position with the possibility of extension to 2 years. Priority will be given to applicants with prior research experience. fMRI, diagnostic interviewing, and data analysis experience is also a plus but not required. The TEAM lab values diversity and aims to foster a sense of inclusion and belonging. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
