SAS is excited to officially announce the inaugural Mid-Atlantic offshoot conference, which we are affectionately calling SASolina, and will take place at Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, North Carolina on Friday, September 19, 2025.
The theme of this SASolina is: Emotions as Utility: exploring the purpose, goals and functional utility of affect.
This theme will encompass basic science to applied and societal level approaches for understanding the role of emotion in our lives, seeking to bridge connections between different perspectives and affective scientists in the Mid-Atlantic region.
